Nu am fost niciodata innebunita dupa Melanie C sau dupa "Spice girls". Melanie C este fosta "sporty spice" care a mai cantat cate ceva si dupa desfiintarea trupei. Mi-a placut melodia pe care a cantat-o cu Bryan Adams "Baby when you're Gone", poate si pentru ca imi place Bryan Adams.
Am redescoperit melodia aceasta mai veche si am incercat sa o inteleg dincolo de prima impresie:

Cheia interpretarii pleaca de la titlul care sugereaza schimbarea unei stari de fapt dar si de spirit. Schimbarea aceasta ar fi determinata de ce? Pentru ca ea simte ca nu se vor mai putea identifica niciodata cu ceea ce au fost 'before'.
Lucrurile ar sta cam asa:el si ea au fost prieteni, au vorbit, au fost apropiati, si-au ascultat problemele 'whenever things go wrong'. La un moment dat realizeaza ca tipul de sentimente se schimba pe negandite si ca devin mai mult decat prieteni. Se intreaba atunci oare de ce i-a luat asa de mult timp pana sa realizeze ce simte si sa 'take the forbidden step'. Pasul acesta interzis ar fi chiar indragostirea de el si se intreaba daca 'Is this something that I might regret?' Dar cine ar putea sa dea un raspuns obiectiv , atunci cand nu mintea ci sufletul e cel care ne ghideaza actiunile.Iar iubirea te poate determina sa faci si lucruri pe care apoi le poti regreta.
Oricum, inima nu poate fi imblanzita, strunita, oricata ratiune am avea, iar singura speranta ar fi ca sentimentul sa fie impartasit.

Cel mai optimist este 'It's just the beggining it's not the end' pentru ca pana la urma, orice sfarsit e un nou inceput, indiferent de ceea ce s-a sfarsit..si poate ca inceputul este pentru ceva mult mai bun decat trecutul pierdut.
